No quality control?

Most electronic cables are catnip to cats, but the fabric-covered ones seem much less appealing to them. So I was very excited to finally find braided earbuds I could connect to my iPad - they are almost impossible to find, either as wireless buds or with a USB-C connector. I followed the (simple) instructions, but sadly, I was never able to charge these or get them to work. Kikkerland never answered my tech support queries and it took about 2 weeks to hear from Customer Support. Giving 3 stars because they did eventually come through with a refund, but honestly, I would rather have gotten earbuds that work! My feeling was that these do not go through quality control. I like Kikkerland designs but this was a very disappointing outcome.
