Worked like a charm - until it didn’t. Worked about two weeks then all of a sudden it stopped. Power light comes on but no more vapor.

Bought one of these from my local garden center. I really liked the idea of minimal cleaning and innocuous placement while giving my houseplants a humidity boost. A really weird and probably fatal flaw in the design is that it requires that an exposed piece of metal on the bottom be in contact with the water in order for the device to power on. I've had the humidifier for about a week and every day when I refill the water I have to clean off rust from that metal piece. I've tried sealing the edges with glue and electrical tape to protect the insides, but there's no way to prevent the rust on the main metal piece when that seems to be a crucial part of the design. I'm giving this two stars instead of one because it at least is functioning, but I know it's only a matter of time until it dies on me.

No I would not recommend.
Used this 1 time. It started up nicely with out issues. After a few hours of use the disc cracked and it stopped functioning. I paid $12.00. I’m ver disappointed.

I DON´T recommend at all! Worked ONCE for maybe 30min, then dead. Then light came back but no fume. The cord makes the ring tilt so the floating is also a 1 out of 5. If you like to waist money waist it on something else.
